Owners and operators, Kevin McKinney and Barbara Silcox, have been bringing the best tasting and highest quality food to Kent County for the past 17 years. They are serious about the restaurant business and take pride in all of their food. The meat, poultry, and fish used in there dishes are all locally sourced. The breads and desserts are baked fresh on the premises every day. The ice cream is made on a local farm. All of this care and passion has paid off and the Brooks Tavern has earned the reputation as one of the best places to eat on the Eastern Shore.

From the moment you step foot into Brooks Tavern, the atmosphere will captivate you as it is both rustic and hip. Located in the Historic Radcliffe Mill, the restaurant has a timeless rustic feel about it. As your night goes on, the restaurant is fills up with both locals and visitors, and the energy picks up, but still maintains a comfortable and casual environment.
Brooks Tavern offers lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is reasonably price, offering an array of delicious selections. You can enjoy a fresh salad or one of the Soups of the Day. If you feel like both you can get a cup of soup and a side salad for only 6 dollars.

You can also enjoy nice hot bowl of their hearty vegetarian chili, or a scrumptious steak sandwich, smothered with onions, Swiss cheese, and a garlic-spiced mayonnaise. If you are in the mood for some eggs, the Omelet of the Day made with Kennedyville eggs, is also must-try.
For Dinner, Brooks Tavern offers guests 'small plate' and 'large plate' options. For instance, guests can munch on their unique and delectable combination of Fried Calamari and Polenta Sticks. Another distinctive offering is the Carolina Crepe filled with BBQ pulled pork, served with a side slaw. |

Brooks Tavern is open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday from 11:30 am-2 pm and for dinner Tuesday-Saturday starting at 5pm. Brooks Tavern is closed Sundays and Mondays. Lunch prices range from $3-$12, for dinner you can get a small plate for $3-$12,and a large plate from $18-$25. Reservations are available for parties of 6 or more mainly on Friday and Saturday evenings. Casual dress is appropriate. |
